Re: Matthew McConnaughey
DOB: 29 June 2009
I am writing to refer Matthew McConaughey who has been diagnosed with refractory asthma. We request argent assessment and further investigation.
Matthew has had bronchial asthma from the past 5 years which was managed by using an albuterol rescue inhaler, 3 times in a week from the last 2 years. We had intermittent just infections from the 6 months.
On 05 May 2020, Matthew presented with wheezing, chest pain, dyspnea and cough. His spirometry report showed 78% of forced expiratory volume. He was commenced on low dose corticosteroid; fluticasone 44mg, two puffs twice a day. Subsequently he remained sumptomatic alon with mild fever. Therefore, his inhaler dose was increased.
On 09 May 2020, Matthew represented with same symptoms. His allergy skin test was positive for dust and teees. His symptoms and test results confirmed the diagnosis. He was prescribed with anticholinergics, luekolriene modifiers as well as steam inhalation and non-pharmacological measures to relieve cough. In addition, his parents was advised for monitoring the breathing pattern.
Today, Mattew presented with worsened symptoms with fever. He is pale and weak.
It would be appreciated if you could take over Matthew’s case in on immediate bases. Please consider bronchial thermoplasty and further investiagtion for him.
