On examination, a palpable mass was noticed;therefore, she underwent multiple investigations, which revealed 6mm of mass on the left latral wall of rectum. Further histopathology report confirmed colon cancer. She was reffered to general surgery consultant and suggested colonoscopy as there is no evidence of metastasis.

Ms Leo is married and lives with supportive husband. She had appendectomy, left leg fracture and pneumonia in 2004,2008 and 2016 respectively. She has had arthritis in her hands and takes voltaran. She follows a sedentary life style and has been overweight since 30-years-old.
Ms Leo was advised to take low-residue light diet followed by semi solid and clear liquid prior to the surgery. She was instructed to be nil by mouth from 08 March 2019 at 12am. Enema was administered before bedtime for the last three days.
