Dear Mr ortner,
Re: Mr Nick Daniels,DOB:11 May 1951
Thank you for accepting Mr Nick Daniels, who underwent hip replacement surgery on 19 July 2019. The weight bearing exercises for mobility enhancement would be extremely beneficial.
On 13 may 2019, Mr Daniel presented to hospital with severe pain in the right hip and knee for the last two months. Unsteady walk and decreased internal rotation and flexion of the right hip were noticed. An X-ray revealed osteoarthritis in the right hip. Limited range of movement and exacerbation of osteoarthritis in the right hip were noticed, therefore, she underwent the surgery.
Postoperatively, Mr Daniel has been commenced on physiotherapy to decrease the chance of dislocation and uneasiness in the hip areas.
Mr Daniel lives with his wife and son in a single storied house. He has had type 2 diabetic mellitus, and he is alergic to pencillin.
Based on the above mentioned circumstances, mobility with a walker or crutches would be beneficial to improve his condition. After the full recovery safely use of stairs is required.
