Re: Mr Gerald Baker, aged 79


Mr Baker will ge discharged back into your care after undergoing total left hip replacement surgery he requires contunuing ongoing management and care.


Post-operatively, Mr Baker suffered from some disorientation. Possibly caused by the anesthetics, his haemoglobin dropped temporarily, 3 unita of packed red blood cells transfused. Currently, haemoglobin stable (112g/dl) requires monitoring any signs of anaemia recommended Aspirin 100mg morning. Ramirpil 5mg morning and panadecs forte / codeie 30mg 2 four times.


During hospitalization, daily dressing surgery exercision site and in order to recover his range of motion stretching and strengthening exercises additionally started occupational therapy.


Currently, Mr Baker monitors medications panadele forte. Pressure skin certegrity. Continue exercise program and his mobility improved he is how using wheeler walker, wedge pillow toilet raiser, hospital to provide walker and pillow. Social worker organised 2 week hire of raise from local medical supplies. Please note Staples to be removed two weeks also follow up FBE and UEG.
