mrs ellis, who has been diagnosed with obstructing pelivicus eteric junction requir continues care and appropriate managment, following her dischaved back to the nursing home today.
On 12 june 2018 , mrs ellis was persented with sever pain, score 8/10 at the unilateral , left joint and grein region , which radiates, to the lower back. vomiting , sweating , dehydration , restless, grimace and haematuria were noticed . subsequently , intravenous diclafenac 75 mg for pain , metocopramide 10 mg for vomiting , and inravenous rehyderation were administred . computerised tomography scan was done , which revealed bilateral multiple renal calculi and moderate bilateral hydronephrosis, dilation of left collecting system, measuing 4mm in size.
on the next day, tamsolsusin 8mg twice daily and paracetamol 50mg every six hour were commenced , gradually pain reduction has been reported . urology evaluation performed which revealed, ston will pass spontaneously fortnight . strict compliance of orall fluid intake of two to three liters daily recominded . Dietry restriction regarding , salt , oxalated rich foods and animal protein were advised.
Based on the aformentioned circumstances, regular monitoring of urine output and checking of passage of stone, and to be sent to laboratory for analysis is profoundly recommended.
