IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 0:00 Hello, Dr. Mohamed.DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 0:03 Hi. Hi, sir. How are you doing?IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 0:06 I'm fine. I'm very much happy and elated at your result. Yeah, can you tell me about your result?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 0:13 Okay, so, for my results I got, I got it like, this afternoon, Singapore time. And then I think, for the reading and listening, I got 390. And then for the speaking, I got about 430. And then for the writing, I think I got 350. Yeah.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 0:30 350 is the borderline Max, you just passed. So what do you what is your cup? What are your comments regarding that?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 0:40 Um, with regards to I think writing, right, I think I'm the reason was because I was I was focusing too much on reading and then I had time management is very important. So in that sense, I think, because I was doing on the computer. So I think I was actually rushing through the fair bit. So maybe I could have potentially been organised some of my paragraph. But otherwise, I think the flow should be there. But if I had more, if I had what we call a better time management skill, I think it would have been higher, definitely.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 1:20 Okay, how was the training helpful to you? What was the mode of training? What What was the style? And how did it help you you think?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 1:31 So for the training wise, I think it was very beneficial for me, because, I mean, I just joined like about five or six days before my exam. So it was actually too late. Because usually, I heard people have to join an academic or they have to join Training Centre, like at least a month before the exam paper, so I was actually recommended by a very good friend. And then he told me that, you know, just give it a try. Let's see how it goes. So I knew for a fact that I had to need a lot of help. In my writing, though, this is my first attempt in doing OTP. So I just was like, wondering, like, okay, you know, what, I will just go ahead with this. So that, you know, I can clear it as much as possible. So training wise, was very comprehensive. You were available almost every other day. And though I didn't manage to finish, like about 30, or 40 letters, at least, about six to seven letters were corrected in a span of about five to six days. So I think at least I got a Geez of how the format works. So if within five to six days, I could actually, you know, get a score of 350. If I had joined a month before, probably I could have gotten even higher, but you know, it's all God. It's all God's grace, you know, we getIG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 2:50 Yeah, at least because of that practice, you got 200 350 Otherwise, there were chances of getting lawyer Mark also, right. Yes, yes. Definitely. Who? So the training was quite necessary, it is brewed?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 3:07 Yeah, especially for writing, I would say, for listening and reading, I think it was one lesson was sufficient for me, because I think it was very clear, it's just that you have to follow a formula or I mean, a formula of like reading the headings, the subheadings. And then knowing where to fit the word and work with time. So like I said, for all these components, time is a very, very, it's a mitigating factor, actually. So we have to make sure that we have to work within the time. So I would, I mean, this is what this is what I didn't do, but I would suggest everyone to put like a stopwatch or timer beside them to time when they are actually doing the practice exam. So that will be very helpful.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 3:50 Okay, okay. What are the benefits you got from this training regarding reading and listening okay. So, whatever other skills or what sort of benefit you got,DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 4:04 so far listening and reading I think we had like, because I like I said, I only had about five to six days of intense training. And in this session, I tried to attend almost every listening and every every reading session to see what is the what I could actually get from the training like how do I actually fit the puzzle? So that was actually it was actually not a rocket science. There is actually a way of doing it. So if you if you learn the technique, you can apply the technique across every paragraph or every n even if it is non medical related topic. I think we can apply the technique to any paragraph or any essays or any journals, though the question can be different. I think the essence will be the same.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 4:52 Yeah, fine. That's really good. Okay. For example, if any student is there who is newly registering with me Preparation, what is your suggestion to them?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 5:04 So addition, from what from my own experience is actually, even before attending, we must make sure that we must be very focused. I mean, I know that every one of us wants to do very well, one to get a good score one two, just clearly in the first attempt, but I think we should also put in the equivalent amount of efforts. So efforts, meaning, whenever there's a class, whenever there's a speaking session, you I mean, I feel like you guys should actually read, rise up to the occasion and just, you know, go for the zoom session, it can be lengthy at times, but those lengthy sessions are what actually provide very good results. So just attend any sessions available as much as possible. So more practice means the better you get, and the more you can actually pre enact the actual exam setting.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 5:58 There are many students who say we can just go through that YouTube videos and other things and we can improve. Yeah, partially it is right. Definitely. It is right. No doubt regarding that some students can achieve that that is clear. But how much personalised those lectures are, comparatively, when you go for a sessions, one on one sessions with me? What is the difference?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 6:22 For me, I think that one on one session was actually very, very different. Because initially, the first first few letters, which was corrected, I was actually looking at a perspective like, Hey, why can this be written this way? And what what? I mean, why is it wrong? So I didn't know that the way I wrote it was wrong. So there was a difference between active and passive writing. So I didn't really understand the concept. And within my second letter, I could grasp the concept. And that was very, very limited. And yes, for all of your may actually know that your friends, your relatives, or anyone could actually just share those files with you. But what's the point of having the file if you don't even know whether if it's the right thing, because I think that most of the letters and the samples available actually subset A sub standards. So it's just, it's just there to get get you the 350 if let's say you get even if you actually miss any points in that sample letter, you can get as low as even 280 290. So those are actually substandard. So you have to create your own style, your own way of writing so that you can apply that across all medium of letters, regardless of whether it's a reference letter, whether is in what we call transfer letter discharge letter, so if you know the technique, you wouldn't need to memorise any formulas or memorise any format it will come naturally to you. So I think that was what I actually learned because yes, I also went through those kind of like e to language all those YouTube channels and everything and I still felt that I was missing something. So that's why a good friend of mine actually introduced me to Simon sir and we work it in just five to six days actually.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 8:18 Again, I congratulate on your grand success thank you very much for sending the message immediately to me because there are many students just they are sending me now some messages that they are very happy they got the results and they succeeded. So they were sharing their experiences now. Okay, I'm really pleased with your resume. Thank you pass on the information to your friends if they're really hard working like how you our friend has shared it to you and you have come and you got the result like that your friend also he was shared my number and then he got good results so that's why he shared your number I think I sent his results also to you right? Yes, sir. Yes, I definitely had another student for I'll say he also got good result. Okay, so that's what it is when somebody trusts him since then, and they get good results that is what makes me very happy it's not the point of money money anybody gives but results not everyone gives right hardware outputs that is more important. So we like the people who are hard work. So yes, fine, fine. So if at all now you have taken the sessions with me and you have seen how strict I am how hard taskmaster I am every line every paragraph every word every letter I used to correct right. Yes sir. Definitely on that one. What do you want to suggest your friends? Maybe some people may get annoyed why this sir is giving too many corrections. What is the problem with this guy? Many people are not doing like this they're just saying okay, okay, I'm good. So five, seven mistakes they are showing and leaving. But Simon said goes on every word letter comma, full stop space everything. He explains why why is he explaining Do you can you tell the point Can you explain the reason?DM DOCTOR MUHAMMED MALEK 10:02 Because so that I think, I think the main reason is because a lot of people I think we just want like, like how we get fast food, they just want everything like fast and everything, especially in internet ruling world, they want everything like on their fingertips. But the thing is that there are certain things like languages, languages that were actually very traditional. So you have to follow the basic rules. And what you're actually teaching is all the basic rules which may seem new to be new to some people because they might probably be probably forgot about it, or they might have not been might have overlooked it. So these things like common everything it may seems very nitpicky at times, but once you learn this technique, when you're actually typing or writing it will become natural. And that is, I think, what is the focus of all this sentence by sentence correction, because it should be natural and not a false memory will Oh, I must write this paragraph, this paragraph must have these diseases. If you do that, then you're just studying for the sake of the exam. But at the end of the day, in a long term, especially when we are actually writing a letter to our patients in the future, regardless of where they see the nurse medicine, I mean doctors or optometric or any speciality or any profession, I think we will be more what we call more used to the way of writing and will come naturally so this is a very good not only for this exam, but in the future purposes as well.IG INTERLOCUTOR GRANDMASTER 11:29 Okay, there's really fine, thank you very much for your feedback. Once again, I congratulate you have a nice day. And thank you so much for your future and your life and your you know your carrier in foreign Thank you. God bless you. God bless you
