I am writing to introduce Mrs Mandy Cheng who is recovering from percutaneous coronary intervention. She requires rehabilitative care further management of exercise and education.
Mrs Cheng brought Emergency Department with the suggestive symptoms of myocardial infraction. On assessment her pulse rate and oxygen saturation were 98 bpm and 90% respectively. An EGC revealed ST segment elevation. Subsequently, certain investigations were performed, which revealed the diagnosis. Consequently, she shifted to cath lab for the procedure and two stents were inserted for the blocked right coronary artery. Her post-operative condition was satisfactory.
Yesterday, Mrs Cheng has made good progress in her condition. However, her fasting lipid profile showed an increased levels along with reduced level of high density lipoproteins. She is on Aspirin 75mg, clopidogrel 150mg, Metformin 850mg and Atovastatin, 40mg once daily.
Mrs Cheng is a widow. She has had diabetes type 2 since 2018 and currently managed with medication. Please note, she is allergic to pencillin.
It would be beneficial if you could provide management of exercises as she has no physical activities.
