Re: Ms Riya Roy, DOB: 12 March 1998
Miss Riya Roy, who had normal vaginal delivery require short-term emergency accommodation and support services following the discharge today.
On 21 February 2018, Ms Roy was admitted to hospital for vaginal delivery. Antenatal period was completed successfully and vitamin D, calcium and folic acid was prescribed. During hospitalisation, a female body was delivered with 3.95 kilograms birth weight on 22nd February at 12:30 hours. Post operatively, her condition was stable and hesitation to breastfeeding and prefers to change to bottlefeeding of was reported, whereas feeding the baby well was observed.
Miss Royal lives alone but earlier lived with boyfriend since August 2017, Where are separated from him for the last three months, because he was very abusive. She has contact with her mother side aunt who lives near to her. Additionally depression was reported since her parents died in accident which happen nearly 1.5 years ago.
Clinical Psychologist has been contacted for emotional support and counselling regarding parents and boyfriend relationship. Advice was provided to apply for sigle mother benefits along with transfers as well as local maternal health services has been contacted for providing ongoing postnatal monitoring. Based on their aformentioned circumstances, providing support and shelter would be extremely beneficial to improve Ms Roy’s condition.
