Dear Dr Rodrigue,
Re: Ms Monica Ross ,age 26
Iam referring Ms ross, who was treated for over consumption
of 20 paracetamol tablets,requires furher assessment and
ongoing care from your service. she will be discharged if
all her reports are normal.
Ms Ross presented to hospital on 03 May 2019 owing to slurred
speech,headache, sweating and confusion.On admision,she
responds to verbal commands,weak pulse,pupils were constricted
and low blood pressure were noted.On examination,she was drowsy,
pale;however, saturation was maintainig well.During hospitilization,
various investigations were performed and antidote N acteylcystine
was commenced.Currently, she attained good recovery and able
to tolerate liquid and soft diet.
Ms Ross is single and works as an accoutant.she lives with her
mother and her father died 8 years ago. She consumes alcohol 7 to
8 units during weekend at parties.
In view of the above, it would be greatly appreciated if you
could evaluate Ms Ross's condition, as she is not showing any
interest towards her life and hobbies.Please note, she has a
review with toxicologist.
