A. SPEAKING SESSION

A.0. WARM-UP SESSION

Interlocutor: 0:00

Hello and welcome to SEVEN SENTINELS, this is Grandmaster class and I am Peter Simon with you on this platform classical direction we are providing training for the students. Today we have with us right here, moulding from Hyderabad originally from Kerala, India. This is a medicine specific taking tests. And these are their daily dosage provisions, ethics speaking materials and mentioned profession speaking. That is the speaking task. Yeah, Thresia, can you please tell me something about yourself in three to four sentences?

Doctor: 0:39

Yeah, my name is Tracy Aldrin. I am adopted. I currently reside in Hyderabad. But I'm originally from Kerala. And I'm 26 years old.

Interlocutor: 0:57

Why did you choose medicine as your profession?

Doctor: 1:01

Because I wanted to save lives. And it's one of the most respected profession in the whole world. That is not just into that. But there are many aspects because I always liked biology, medical subjects, I was more into keen interest into all these surgeries and everything. That's how I chose medicine.

Interlocutor 1:21

Okay. What is your fundamental reason for taking the occupational English test?

Doctor: 1:31

I'm taking this test, because in order to have your medical license extend on various countries, you need to first pass your English test. So that's why I've taken this to write that I can apply for license exam in other country.

Interlocutor 1:49

Which country is your most favorite destination for migration and work?

Doctor: 1:56

Australia is one of the countries which I want to migrate into. And as big as it says, it is very diverse in culture and people around and plus the working environment is good, and what their doctors are respected much more. And I think Australia is the one which gives more opportunities for you to have a good professional life.

Interlocutor 2:24

Comment on the special qualities of the contemporary or the present generation doctors.

Doctor: 2:34

The current generation or what they lack of generosity. So the current young generation needs to be more into humanity and treating people as they would do them from their own heart. And that thing, you should never go into disruption thinking of money, because money is not going to get into any of this. Because the long hours of work and the trading off just sleepless nights want according to the amount of money you get. So if you want to go into this profession, you should do it wholeheartedly. Like within from yourself that you really want to save someone's life.

Interlocutor 3:17

What is the regular routine of an ideal doctor?

Doctor: 3:23

There is no specific regular routine for any doctors as such, it depends on the amount of load work they have, it depends on the lifestyle, it can differ from person to person, some may have patients may have night shift. But yeah, some may not even have a day or night, and some people have 24 hour shifts, it's actually difficult to be adopted it it takes your most of your personal life as well. So there is no best thing or you know, an ideal routine for a doctor because this was even for a single person if it is for me also, I think it just keeps on changing your routines keep on changing, you don't have a fixed schedule at all.

Interlocutor 4:07

Right One last question. As far as your profession is concerned, who is your role model?

Doctor: 4:19

In my profession, I went through this profession actually, just on the basis of what I wanted to do. In either of my family or I haven't seen out on me that I had any context of a doctor within me or you know, my family. It was just purely my decision. It was just that I wanted to pursue something which my family couldn't do. Any of the people couldn't around me. Were set for this profession. I don't have a role model. It is just I believed in myself and I moved forward with it.

Interlocutor 4:54

That's very nice talking to you. It was a good one session. Have a nice day. Thank you.

Doctor: 4:58

Thank you.
