Re: Ms Helen Marshal, DOB: 29 January 1968


Ms Helen marshal requires urgent admission at your facility who is suspected to have myocardial infarction.


Today at 20:25H Ms Marshal has reported tightness and pain in her chest which was radiating to the shoulder as well as neck. Her blood pressure was 190 over 100mmhg and her pain score was 8/10. Also, she appeared distressed, pale and sweaty. Subsequently, she was managed with Panadol, Buscopan and Nitroderm transdermal patch however these medications were ineffective. She was initiated oxygen therapy through nasal prongs. In addition to this, she was experienced indigestion


Ms Marshal lives in Wellness Retirement Village. She has had glaucoma and hypertension for the past ten years for which she is taking Timoptol eye drops, captopril 25 mg and Normison 20 mg. Also, she is on non-prescription medications which are attached with this letter. she can walk independently with the support of a walking frame. Apart from this, she has habits of drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes one packet per day.


It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide immediate assessment and management.
